Diagnostic Radiographers are responsible for using high-end technology devices to produce top quality medical images for the purpose of diagnosing injury or disease.If you’re interested in health and you’re good with people and technology, then this is career you should definitely look into.


  • Determining the appropriate equipment to use & selecting the correct settings
  • Calculating procedure details – including length & intensity of radiation exposure, size & strength of isotope dosage, use of recording equipment
  • Prepare and safely position patients
  • Obtain clear and accurate pictures
  • Explaining procedures to patients and answering their questions
  • Maintain patient records
  • Oversee work schedules
  • Provide reports to, and assist other physicians in diagnosis and treatment recommendations
