Canberra Institute of Technology (CIT) offer nationally recognised courses that count towards your ACT Year 12 Certificate.
An E course is also designed for students wanting to:
- Fast track their studies
- Learn in a different environment
- Gain skills not offered at current college
- Develop pathways to further studies
CIT have two intakes per year for these courses.
Semester 1 applications open from mid November, classes begin in the first half of the following February.
Note: 2019 Semester 1 classes commence on Monday 11th February.ย If you haven’t yet applied but want to then there’s still a slim chance you could get on a course.
Semester 2 applications open in the first week of May. Enrolments happen from the end of June until mid July and classes start at the end of July.
To apply (check the CIT website for dates nearer the time), you’ll have to attend an information session and then complete a short test. You’ll then have to make an appointment with a teacher to discuss your subject options.
Applications close each Semester at the end of the first week of classes, or when the class is full (whichever comes first).
