STEM Programs coming soon

Good news from the 2019-20 Federal Budget. Questacon will receive $6.2 million to help roll out its Engineering is Elementary program, resources will be available to primary schools throughout Australia.

In addition, it will receive another $8.9 million to expand the Science Circus program.

It’s hoped that by making the Engineering is Elementary program more widely available, it will engage children in STEM from an earlier age and help them discover careers that might interest them.

The resources resources and workshops are set to be delivered to 1000 teachers in up to 500 primary schools across the country in a bid to support the demand for STEM skills in future workforces.
