Travel is part and parcel of life for most of us, one way or another. Whether it’s through family holidays, road trips, camping weekends, gap years, volunteering, or the annual leave you hang out for when you’re working.
The good news is there’s to more to travelling than just the photos and memories.
Leaving behind our routines and habits could put you in a whole new mindset, bringing that back with you after a trip could be really beneficial.
You could learn to:
- live less materially
- live in the moment
- enjoy the small things in life
- seek happiness through experiences
- give back to other people
- be more conscious of choices you make
Imagine living with that holiday feeling all year round, it’s certainly worth bearing in mind.
Next time you take a trip, give a thought to the things you loved about the experience, and try to channel those feelings or practises back at home too.
