During the school holidays, The Australian Reptile Park is holding their Big Kids 2 Keeper program. It provides an intense and very hands on experience for teenagers (aged 13-18 years) and involves as many aspects of zoo keeping that we can pack into one day!
Participants will learn many aspects of zoo keeping such as hygiene routines, animal feeding, enclosure servicing, animal enrichment, enclosure design and the renovation/construction of current exhibit projects.
The program costs $120 for the day.
