Paddock to Plate

The AMPC have produced a resource to introduce primary school students in Years 5 & 6 to the concept of meat production.

Students will learn about the processes involved in producing meat products.  Design and produce a label for a cut of meat, with an info-graphic illustrating the paddock to plate concept. They’ll also present their label to an audience and explain how it can educate consumers about how red meat is processed in Australia, and how the cut of meat can be prepared for healthy eating.
