In 2020, the University of South Australia will be commencing its first year of their new Bachelor of Creative Industries.
This degree will prepare you for a career in the growing creative industries, encompassing the visual and performing arts; digital media including film and television; social media; animation, web and games design; festival and event management; and writing and publishing.
Each of the Industry Majors has an industry partner, who informs teaching and provides unique student experiences, which means that you’re learning direct from industry and developing critical networks throughout your degree.
Industry Majors include:
- Animation and Visual Effects (in partnership with Rising Sun Pictures)
- Comicbook Creation (in partnership with Writers SA)
- Communication and Media (in partnership with the Government of South Australia Department for Innovation and Skills)
- Contemporary Art Studies (in partnership with Guildhouse)
- Creative Writing and Literature (in partnership with Writers SA)
- Digital Media (in partnership with Opinion Media)
- Festivals (in partnership with Festivals Adelaide)
- Film and Television (in partnership with Channel 44)
- Games Design and Production (in partnership with Mighty Kingdom)
- Performing Arts (in partnership with the State Theatre Company)
- Screen Studies (in partnership with Adelaide Film Festival).
- Social Media (in partnership with KOJO)
