DPTI Apprenticeships

The Department of Planning, Training and Infrastructure (DPTI) employs apprentices through the Government Apprenticeship Scheme.

You’d be employed in three or four year contract, gain work experience, practical skills, and a nationally recognised trade qualification.

The DPTI has apprenticeships in the following fields:

  • carpenter
  • electrical
  • electronics
  • engineering (mechanical, civil and electrical)
  • glazing
  • plant operator
  • plumber

Apprenticeships with the DPTI come with the added bonus that if you:

  • perform to department standards
  • meet all the learning criteria within your award

You will be offered an ongoing position – guaranteed employment – at the end of your contract.

DPTI advertises as positions come up throughout the year, so keep checking on Jobs SA if you’re interested in applying.
