St John Cadetship

Aged 16 or 17 and live in Perth Metro, you can apply to join St John’s as a cadet.

The program will allow you to learn lifesaving skills for FREE, give you an accreditation for FREE, and attend many community events (again for free).

You’ll get to choose whether you complete an induction course or complete training before you’re let loose at events across the state.

You’ll also be helped to develop your skills further with more training opportunities throughout the year.

There are lots of benefits to signing up as a St Johns cadet, and even if you’re not looking for a career as a health professional or part of the emergency services, you’ll still have acquired really valuable and practical life skills and some great work experience.

Potential employers could be really impressed by seeing this on your resume, and you’d probable have a brilliant experience.
