Here are some of the school holiday events happening around WA during the upcoming winter holidays.

With School holidays around Perth there are no excuses to be bored with the Snow Mall, Winterworld in Fremantle, skating at Elizabeth Quay and Mandurah, a Marshmallow roast and float, LEGO hunts and school holiday programs at the local Museums. There is tonnes happening.

Sign up for UWA’s Teen Holiday Program if you’re aged 13-17. Get outside, have fun and connect with peers while experiencing a diverse range of sport and recreation activities.
The Western Australian Museum has lined up a host of school holiday activities for you to explore.
All Saints College have loads happening these holidays. Firetech Australia will be there with their technology-based learning experiences, be challenged and engage your design thinking, problem-solving, communication and collaboration skills – building great digital citizens for the future. Or check out their impressive school holiday program for kids aged 9-17. They’ve also partnered with ASC if you’d prefer to go to a 3 day AFL / AFLW / Basketball camp. They’ve also got Code Camp running again.

Join in the fun at Swan Valley Adventure Centre with their holiday program (ages 10-14).
Get to Osborne Library and compare human and animal skulls, bones and skeletons using x-rays, models and preserved animal specimens. Practice observational drawing to create realistic sketches. Sculpt real and imaginary skulls using foil, tape and wire.

Join in with the activities happening at the Heritage Centre’s school holiday day program. There’ll be interactive tours of Perth Fire Station, the Heritage Centre, followed by a board games battle. For ages 5-17.
Attend Slime Fest in Beckenham.
Go to the Aviation Museums school holiday program, combined with crazy science in the afternoon. Ages 5-17.
Learn about curators and hidden treasures in the Museum Explorers day. Ages 5-17.
Create LEGO robots and learn how to control them with an Ipad, as well as celebrating at NAIDOC week Festival in Midland. Ages 5-17.
Meet the animals at a hands-on experience at Peal Zoo. Ages 5-17.
Get an introduction to electronics and scratch coding. Make a video game you can re-program, animate it, code it and play with it. All ages welcome.
Attend one of the many events at Joondalup Library.
