Science and Environment School Experience Program

Deakin University’s new Science and Environment School Experience Program offers Year 10 students the opportunity to participate in activities such as water testing, vegetation surveys, analysing the proteins found in milk, discovering the chemistry found in soft drinks, and learning the tools and techniques of molecular biology.

The program is designed for a maximum number of 50 students per day. Students will be split into two groups of 25 and alternate between both science and environment activities. Depending on numbers, schools may be grouped together for the activities.

Dates:ย Tuesday 8 October to Thursday 10 October 2019

Duration:ย 9.30am – 2.30pm

Location:ย Melbourne Burwood Campus

Capacity:ย Maximum of 50 students per day.

Year level:ย 10
