WA’s School Curriculum and Standards Authority have information available for high schools about the upcoming exams.
The Year 12 Information Handbook for 2019 has been published, in a downloadable format. It could be a good idea to download it and have a read through it now, note down any important dates and information, that way you won’t be scrambling at the last minute.
Some of the important dates you might need to know are:
28 September – 6 October 2019 | Practical examinations for Aviation, Dance, Drama, Music and Physical Education Studies
12 – 20 October 2019 | Practical examinations for English as an Additional Language or Dialect (for students enrolled at a Western Australian school), Chinese: Second Language, French: Second Language, French: Background Language, German: Second Language, German: Background Language, Indonesian: Second Language, Italian: Second Language, Italian: Background Language, Japanese: Second Language
30 October – 19 November | ATAR course written examinations take place
19 December 2019 – results available online on the Authority’s student portal.
On the school portal, you can also download information about exams, your personalised practical examination timetable which states the date, time, venue and location for each practical examination you need to attend. And your personalised written examination timetable which states the date, time and examination centre for each written examination you need to attend. The timetables will be available from Thursday 12 September 2019.
