The Online Portrait Competition is a national competition that awards and promotes photography excellence in all forms of analog and digital photography, with a focus on portraiture.
Entries are welcome from all around Australia in two categories: Open and Amateur. The Open category is open to Professionals who earn a full time or part time income from photography. The Amateur category can only be entered by people who earn under $2000 per year in income from photography.
The winner in each category will receive a $7,500 prize, with other prizes available for other winning entries.
The top 30 entries will also be chosen to enter the Print Competition held later in the year. Only entrants into The Portrait Competition will be eligible for entry into the Print Competition.
