The annual Leapsmag Writing Competition is now open for entries.
The competition involves writing a personal essay of up to 2000 words describing how a new advance in medicine or science has profoundly affected your life.
The grand prize is $500, publication of your story on leapsmag, and promotion on leapsmag’s social media channels. It is free to enter and open to anyone around the world of any age.
The competition is open until midnight on Friday 20 September.
