Applications are now open for SA Health’s Dental Assistant Traineeship program.
A Dental Assistant Traineeship is the ideal way to kick start your career in the dental profession. The SA Dental Service is a state-wide organisation with a supportive learning environment and professional development opportunities on offer.
Dental Assistant Traineeships provide a 12 month program commencing in February of on the job training under supervision to develop the competency and skills required of a qualified Dental Assistant. In addition, participants also undertake the Certificate III in Dental Assisting.
Dental Assistant Traineeships are subject to the following criteria;
- aged between 17 and 24, with an age limit of 30 years of age if Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
- a resident of South Australia
- have completed year 11
