Write a haiku for a chance to win a book about poetry. A haiku is a Japanese poem of 17 syllables, written in 3 lines. The theme for this year’s competition is Animals.
Entries are welcome from students in primary and secondary schools across Australia.
The competition is open until Friday 18 October.
