The Australian Government Department of Agriculture develop and implement policies and programs to ensure Australia’s agricultural, fisheries, food and forestry industries remain competitive, profitable and sustainable.
They’re looking for clever and enthusiastic students to get paid work experience before graduating. If you’re looking for some insight into future career opportunities with the department including the Graduate Development Program and ABARES Entry Level Professional Program, you should consider applying for UVEP.
The program includes:
- A six week paid work placement in Canberra ACT or Mickleham VIC
- The opportunity to complete a specific project for the department relevant to your studies and interests
- Mentoring and networking opportunitiesย with peers, professionals and researchers in your field of interest.
UVEP commences on 9 January 2020 and runs for six weeks to 19 February 2020.
Eligibility:
This program is designed for current university students who will continue their studies in 2020. The program is available to students from all disciplines.
You must be an Australian citizen to participate in the UVEP and will be required to undergo an AFP National Police Check.
NOTE: You will be responsible for your own travel and accommodation arrangements during the six week program. No financial assistance for relocation will be provided.
