The InspireU Engineering camp provides an opportunity for 20 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students from across Queensland to participate in a number of field-specific activities that are designed to provide insight into studying engineering at UQ and the wide range of career and study options available to engineering students and graduates.
The camp includes a range of informative and interactive activities such as touring UQ’s engineering precinct, a visit to the visualisation room where students familiarise themselves with a virtual depiction of an open-cut and underground mine, as well as hands-on engineering workshops in the field of aerospace engineering.
Applications for the 2020 camp are open until Friday 29 November.
