The core duties of a Horticultural Apprentice are garden preparation and to carry out the routine care and maintenance within designated parks, gardens and reserves. This includes maintenance duties such as mowing, edging and other manual handling tasks as well as learning all aspects of horticulture by a skilled and supportive team.
The apprenticeship is located at the Mandurah Council’s Operations Centre on Park Road.
