End of year at high school is stressful, particularly in Year 12 when you might be feeling like everything is hanging in the balance.
It’s hard to stay motivated when you’re tired and stressed out. The thought of more revision to come, or the sight of piles of study notes and textbooks could make you feel blue and sap the last ounces of motivation you’ve got.
You could try taking the advice from one of last year’s Year 12 students, and step off the gas.
That might sound like a crazy solution, especially when you still have exams left to get through. Kiran’s theory though is not to stop studying altogether, but just to take some time to refocus and make a shift in your study habits. It could be just enough to stop you burning out and get you through the last few weeks of high school.
