The Cadet Technical Officer position is one of gaining experience and qualifications necessary to be able to confidently undertake civil engineering works in the area of works strategic planning, construction and maintenance. The position requires the individual to develop skills over time to be able to achieve the next level of employment as a Project Manager / Civil Engineer.
The successful applicant will have:
- completed a Secondary education to Grade 12 level with an OP capable of gaining entry to complete Bachelor of Engineering Science (Civil), OR has already commenced this course at a tertiary institution;
- an interest in engineering and project management;
- a ‘C’ Class Drivers Licence (manual preferred); and
- strong analytical and technical ability.
