The University of Adelaide’s Centre for Aboriginal Studies in Music (CASM) is the only university-based centre for Australian Indigenous music studies.
If you are aged 17 or over and identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, CASM has a Foundation Year study program for students wanting to study music at university.
CASM students are able to write, perform and record their own music at the studios based in the centre.
Recent graduates from CASM include Zaachariaha Fielding of the band Electric Fields, Ellie Lovegrove and Simi Vuata, are widely acclaimed performing artists.
