During the Debating Association of Victoria’s Senior Public Speaking Competition, senior students (11 and 12) will be given the opportunity to extend their existing public speaking skills by presenting one prepared speech (6-8 mins) and two impromptu speeches (4-5 mins).
Students will receive high quality feedback from experienced adjudicators, as well as the opportunity to watch fellow speakers. Highest scoring students will be awarded at the end of the day.
The competition this year will be held on Sunday 26 April at St Kevin’s College in Toorak. Registrations are open until Monday 20 April.
