Indigenous Direct Entry and Access Scheme (IDEAS) at USC

If you identify as an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person, you may be given direct entry to a program based on your potential to succeed through USC’s Indigenous Direct Entry Scheme (IDEAS).

This is a direct entry scheme for people who may not have received an ATAR, who received an ATAR that does not meet the cut-off for their chosen course, or who might not have completed Year 12.

USC will consider your past experience in relation to study and employment, as well as your potential to successfully complete University studies. Community involvement, past achievements or awards and current employment information are also considerations USC will take into account.
