Low Cost TAFE in SA

Are you thinking about studying a VET qualification when you leave high school? The South Australian Government offers low cost TAFE courses for eligible students.

To be eligible for a subsidised course, you need to be an Australian citizen 16 years or older, and either not at school or undertaking training through the Training Guarantee for SACE Students (TGSS).

Note that while the courses have been subsidised, they are not completely free. This means that while you still need to pay a fee, it is significantly cheaper than normal.

  1. Find a course you’d like to study
  2. Find somewhere to study it
    • You can find subsidised courses and providers on the Skilled Careers website
