Secondary Schooling Scholarships in WA for 2021

The Department of Education in WA offer a number of scholarships, grants and prizes for young people at secondary school, in Years 6-11. If you successfully apply they could help you to focus on achieving your education goals.

All scholarships are awarded in Term 1 each year with and you’ll receive the full amount in one go.

To Apply:

 

You’ll need to check your eligibility to apply (which might depend on your age and which school you attend for example), then:

  • Request a reference from your principal.
  • Upload your student report as one multipage document (not separate pages). This can be provided by your school as a PDF.
  • Applications can be lodged by a parent or carer. Parent or carer consent must be given if the application is completed by a teacher or student. The parent or carer must certify that the financial outline information is correct.
  • You will receive an automatic confirmation email once the application is submitted.

Scholarships will be judged in March by a selection committee. You’ll be notified of your outcome in March or April, and cheques will be mailed at the end of Term 1.

Applications are open now and CLOSE 5.30pm Thursday 10 December 2020, so get your application organised as soon as possible to be in with a chance.
