Starting a new job or looking to get your foot in the door some time soon? You might be keen to learn about your rights and responsibilities as an employee.

The Fair Work Ombudsman has some great resources for young people and students who are starting a new job. These resources can help you prepare by knowing your rights, being ready for your first day, learning about issues that can arise, myths on unpaid work, and much more.

If you already have a job and are feeling like something isn’t right, these resources can help as well. You can also check out their Record My Hours app to make it easy to keep track of your hours worked and other important information.

Take a look at the resources on the Fair Work website here: https://www.fairwork.gov.au/find-help-for/young-workers-and-students
