You can take part in a brand new STEM writing competition, created by high school students for high school students.
The international Sciencious competition has been created with the aim of inspiring life-long learning in STEM for your people.
Simply write and submit your article
To take part, you’ll need to write a scientific based article on one of five topics:
In your opinion, why does biological ageing occur?
How did non-living chemical compounds generate complex life forms?
What is on the other side of a black hole?
Do you believe that the concept of race is biologically accurate?
Are causes of obesity more mental or physical?
You must be aged between 12 and 18 years old, and your article must be no more than 1000 words. For more criteria, including formatting and inclusions make sure you click here, and read the guidelines before you get started.
You can also take a look at the marking criteria to get the heads up on what the judges will be looking for.
It’s free to enter this competition and there are prizes to won including cash and coupons, plus the opportunity to see your work published in the Sciencious magazine as well as on social media. You could also get the chance to be Chief Author at Sciencious (a great way to add credibility and experience to your resume).
