Since 2016, the James Moore Memorial Fund has enabled an annual prize to support secondary school students to learn from Flinders’ world-leading academics in the field of palaeontology.
Open to students from SA in Years 10, 11 & 12, the prize enables them to participate in an expedition with Flinders palaeontologists and to help curate fossils from the expedition in the Flinders Palaeontology Laboratory.
In 200 words or less, tell us why you think palaeontology is interesting and important, and why you would like to participate in a scientific expedition with palaeontologists.
To enter, email your entry to Prof. Gavin Prideaux at gavin.prideaux@flinders.edu.au with ‘James Moore Memorial Prize’ in the subject line.
Applications close Friday 20 May.
