The NSW Department of Education have released a K-12 Career Learning Framework to help educators embed career learning activities within curriculum. While the strategies have been designed with the NSW curriculum in mind, there are ideas that could be useful for educators in other states, and it’s a great document that shows a commitment to supporting the National Career Education Strategy.
From the Framework:
“Today’s students need to be adaptable, flexible and confident, critical and creative thinkers. They will need to be, innovative and future focused to manage the range of challenges in entering the workforce due to technological change, globalisation, and automation…”
You can find the Framework here.
