Barbara Petchenik Children’s World Map Drawing Competition

The Barbara Petchenik Award was created by the International Cartographic Association in 1993 as a memorial for Barbara Petchenik, a past Vice president of the ICA and cartographer who worked through her life with maps related to children.

This year’s competition is based on the theme “A map of my future world”. Young people under 16 years of age from around the world are invited to enter the competition.

Entries must be submitted by Monday 1 May 2023. Find out more and enter here: https://icaci.org/barbara-petchenik-competition-2023/
