Hive Social is a mobile-only social networking app that recently celebrated one million users, founded by student Raluca Pop.
Previously an influencer on Instagram, Raluca found herself becoming tired of the constant ads and trying to keep up with the algorithm. So she decided to take matters into her own hands and create a brand new platform.
With no knowledge of tech, Raluca taught herself to code, and along with another developer launched the first version of Hive in 2019. Today, her small team of three helps to run the growing social media platform.
