Benefits

The Indigenous Access Scheme is a pathway into undergraduate study for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students. We want to recognise your achievements and help you succeed, so when you apply, we’ll look at a range of factors to help you find the course that’s right for you. As well as academic achievements, you can demonstrate your readiness for study through previous life or work experience, education, community involvement, and anything else that is relevant.

Eligibility

  • I am of Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Descent; and
  • I identify as an Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander; and
  • I am accepted as such by the community in which I live or have lived.

Applications

Apply direct to Deakin at any time. As part of the application process, you will need to complete a small writing task and short interview.
