Hosted by the Murumburr family group, visitors will be able to experience and taste a range of seasonal bush tucker in the beautiful surrounds of the Patonga Homestead community.
The event takes place at the Murdudjurl Patonga Homestead Community at the edge of the Jim Jim River system. The region has seven unique habitats, dozens of bird species and an abundance of different foods.
The family, lead by Jessie Alderson and Mandy Muir, enjoy sharing the local knowledge of the Bininj/Mungguy seasonal foods and you will get a taste of life for the clan as well as an insight into the history, culture and rich bush food heritage of this remarkable place.
