Indigenous Australian Engineering School, Sydney

The aim of the Indigenous Australian Engineering Schools (IAES) program is to provide an exciting environment for Indigenous students to learn what Engineering is all about and discover how Engineers can benefit and improve our communities, to provide a forum for students to meet engineering role models and gain insights into the opportunities engineering can provide as a career.

During the week-long IAES, students are given the opportunity to meet engineers, participate in design work and other hands-on activities that will test newly acquired engineering skills, visit engineering projects and gain an understanding of the job opportunities that are available within the profession.

Students from the Eastern states (NSW, Vic, Qld, Tas, NT and SA) are invited to apply to attend the IAES hosted by Sydney University from March 2022.
