Following the success of the virtual program in 2020, Monash is once again offering its Hands on Health Virtual Work Experience program to students from Victoria and interstate.
Using online collaborative tools, Monash’s unique two-day program will increase access to work experience opportunities for students from across Australia. The program will employ small group teaching techniques and methods (6-8 students in each group) and give participants an opportunity to:
- learn about health careers and pathways to study them at Monash
- learn interpersonal skills that healthcare workers require
- gain knowledge that is helpful in solving healthcare problems
- interact with medicine, nursing and allied healthcare students
- practice healthcare skills and participate in hands-on workshops
