The UWA Lawrence Scholarship is automatically awarded to eligible high-achieving Year 12 students to encourage and assist them to commence and undertake undergraduate studies at The University of Western Australia.

Value

Value: $5,000 per annum.

Duration: Six semesters, which are normally consecutive, plus an additional two semesters for honours if applicable.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible to be considered for the scholarship, a candidate must:

  • have accepted an Early Offer to the University, or applied through the Tertiary Institutions Service Centre (TISC) whilst in Year 12 for a place at the University, nominating a course at the University as their first preference in the first round of offers; and
  • achieve an Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) of at least 99.90; or
  • in the opinion of the Coursework Scholarships Committee have attained other academic or outstanding achievement.

Applicants to the University are automatically considered for this scholarship and do not need to submit a separate application.
