Educational Access Schemes

Special consideration covers a range of access and equity programs offered by institutions.

The Special Entry Access Scheme (SEAS) is a single application that is sent to all the courses you apply to.

For 2020 VTAC have added two new categories to their eligibility criteria under Category 4: Difficult Circumstances, they cover:

  • 2019-2020 bushfire impacts, or
  • COVID-19 remote learning.

Some institutions offer special consideration programs that are not part of SEAS. Institutions that recognise VTAC’s SEAS are listed here.

Scholarships provide financial support to help students with the costs of tertiary education. Scholarships are not only for high achievers. Find out about the types of scholarships available and learn how to complete your scholarship application.

Admission Criteria

Most current Australian Year 12 students who are successfully completing the VCE, VCAL (Senior) or equivalents are eligible to apply through VTAC for courses. You must meet citizenship and residency requirements.
